Our History

Originally called the Hindu Incense company, Gonesh was owned by a family of Lithuanian immigrants from 1923 until the 1980s. We've been hand dipping our incense since 1923 in Chicago and trademarked the Gonesh brand (named after the Hindu God Ganesha) in 1965.
